Newton 971 - The most sensitive EMCCD spectroscopic detector ever offer you active pixels of 1600*400 alon with 16*16 m Pixel size along with the -100C TE cooling. It?s Variable readout rates enable data readout at up to 3 Megahertz, through the plug and play USB interface.

Multi-MHz readout rates, -100C cooling & up to 95% Quantum Efficiency make Newton the ultimate spectroscopy detector. EM technology enables charge from each pixel to be multiplied on the sensor before readout, providing single photon sensitivity with up to 3 Megahertz readout and USB connectivity. The camera utilizes a 1600 x 400 array of 16 m pixels with thermoelectric cooling down to -100C resulting in negligible dark current and provides unrivalled performance for spectroscopic applications. The dual output amplifiers allow software selection between either a conventional High Sensitivity or Electron Multiplying outputs.
