TRITIUM BUBBLER WITH 2 VIALS

This tritium sampler brings original solutions in the exploitation of trapping systems for tritium gas and tritiated water. This collection system is mainly used for the detection of chimney rejects and TRITIUM wastes degassing. The realization of this machine has been essentially focused on optimum sampling efficiency associated with ergonomics adapted to all utilization conditions. The technician can come less frequently to collect the liquid solution (monthly instead of a usual weekly frequency) thanks to a cooling system water circuit that will prevent all water loss by evaporation in the feeding-bottles. Its original tightness dynamics system on the two feeding-bottles, authorizes a manipulation (on/ off) particularly confoftable of this device in all circumstances without pressing back nor loss of solution. A microprocessor pilots and manages all functioning parameters, insuring thus a total security in its utilization during long periods.

Working principle
This device traps the tritiated water vapor by a principle of paddling in two feeding-bottles. The collector sucks up atmospheric air through a meter which precisely measures the quantity of aspired air. This air runs successively through two bottles that trap the tritiated water vapor. After a certain time, the tritiated water contained in the bottles is measured in a laboratory. The quantity of tritium measured is related to the volume air which passed in the equipment.
